My name is Mrs. Craft and I adore teaching 3rd Grade at Center School!  This will be my ninth year at Center and I'm excited for another fantastic year of learning with my students.

 

I have always had a special place in my heart for the primary grades. I have my Master’s in Elementary Education and previously taught 1st Grade in Greenwich, CT. It was there that I first implemented the Reader’s and Writer’s Workshop models that Longmeadow has adopted. These methods are incredibly rewarding for both my students and me, and I enjoy continuing this good work in Longmeadow.

 

Prior to teaching, I worked as a public relations executive at a variety of agencies, ultimately ending up at the test-prep and education company, Kaplan Inc., where my love of education was reignited.

 

I am a parent of an 11th grader (Go Lancers!) and rising 6th grader at Williams Middle School (Go Wildcats!). My family enjoys going to the beach, playing baseball, singing, and riding bikes.
